You will need:
Shallow dish or pan
Sand (Jo Ann’s, Micheal’s, Hobby Lobby… have colored sand)
Rocks (these can be glass aquarium rocks or bedrock rocks)
Greenery - this is optional. Can be anything from fake fish tank plants to real clippings from your favorite tree or plant in your yard.
Fork to use as a rake.
There are Fairy Garden rakes that you can find on Amazon.
How to put it together:
Pour sand into the shallow pan/dish
You want enough to cover the pan but still be able to move the sand around without spilling it out of the pan/dish.
You can do this outside to reduce the mess
Smooth the sand out
Add rocks and greenery
Add the fork
